Unlimited Sliding Scale
I intend for anyone and everyone to have access to my massage therapy practice, regardless of age, identity, fitness level, stage of recovery, or socio-economic status.
Of course, I also want to earn a comfortable living and prepare for retirement someday… I need my clients to pay me as much as they can afford, and I figure they know better than I do how much that is.
I’ve done dirty, heavy work all day for less in wages than what massages cost some places, and I’m grateful every day for the work I get to do now.
I know without a doubt that my gift is priceless and irreplaceable, and I’m confident that you will know it too. So the dollar amount really depends on you, and the opportunities life has given you so far.
I offer my best, and expect you’ll do the same.
The most valuable thing I can earn from our time together is your trust.
While generally beneficial for most people, massage and bodywork therapy may be harmful under some circumstances, including but not limited to illness, injury, intoxication, pregnancy, and certain medical conditions. You know more about your body and medical history than anyone else, and are responsible to disclose any information about your health you feel is relevant to your care. I strive to be as informed as possible about human physiology and pathology, but I’m not qualified to offer diagnoses or prescribe treatments other than massage and bodywork therapy. Concerns or questions about whether massage therapy is appropriate for you should be discussed with your physician.
Everything you share is Confidential
Rest assured that safeguarding your privacy is important to me, and that I will never disclose identifying information about you, your health and medical history, your treatment, appointment times, or anything else I may learn while you are under my care, to any other person, without your knowledge and explicit consent, unless legally compelled by a subpoena or suspicion of imminent harm to a minor or a dependent elder.
